Yoga for Humanity

The 8th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Shree Kshetra Tapobhumi Gurupeeth and various places in Goa under the divine guidance of international Yog Guru, Padma Shri awardee H. H. Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji. Yoga sessions were held throughout the day at various places in Goa, Raj Bhavan, District Collector’s Office, temples, schools, colleges, halls, institutions, and government offices as well as in districts of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day is conducted every year by Satguru Foundation in various educational institutions, villages, hospitality centres, industrial firms, organizations etc. It is celebrated at more than 500 places every year. More than 200 Yoga instructors and demonstrators have been trained till today.

In an age of highly dynamic and competitive world in addition with stress and responsibilities people tend to ignore their health. Stress can affect one’s work performance, social life and also relationship with family members.

Yoga offers an effective method of managing and reducing stress, anxiety, and depression.Keeping in cognizance, we proactively focus on organising yoga programs across states in villages, schools, panchayats, public places, etc for all age groups. Special Yoga programmes are organised for women in rural areas.

Yoga sessions are also held at school/college level. Through these programmes candidates from schools, especially remote areas are identified for National and International Yog Championships and are trained to participate in these events.

We have been celebrating International Yoga Day every year at more than 500 places. On the occasion, Yoga sessions are conducted for students including primary, high school & colleges. Also camps are organised for government staff, self-help groups, and industrial organisations. Looking at the demand for Yoga practices sessions are also conducted for tourists coming to Goa.

We have achieved success in delivering yoga programs in the modern world and prove to be very helpful for thousands of people to cope up their stress and other mental as well as physical problems.

Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha

Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha is a phrase in Sanskrit which means ‘may all living beings live happily driving away all the sufferings.’ Revolving around this thought, Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha event was organized by Satguru Foundation to provide intellectual and divine guidance by internationally recognized spiritual master, Ambassador of Peace His Holiness Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji. This event mainly aimed at enlightening the minds of youngsters towards attaining inner peace in this present day busy modern world. The programme marked the participation of not less than thousands of professionals from different fields.

Through this event we aim to develop one’s ability to take decisions, to build up leadership qualities, create self-awareness, and improve vision towards life. It serves to guide how to deal ethically in professional life and maintain work life balance. The motive of the event was to enlighten the professionals on how well they can contribute in national and overall mankind development by giving utmost respect to nature. A spiritual discourse for supreme balance between materialism and mental peace. Meditation has been a basic concept of self-development and such sessions of techniques of meditation are conducted through this event which helps boost mental health.

The youths are the future of this world. Perceptions of youth itself decide whether this world will live peacefully or not. We believe that youth are the seeds who can raise this world towards positivity and harmony. We aim to direct and safeguard young minds with a shield of spirituality and positive etiquettes. We also conduct interactive questionnaire sessions, guidance sessions, seminars through this events.

 

 

Kumbh Conclave

“India is moving ahead with a revolution in the field of spirituality. Organizing of events such as Kumbh conclave, has changed the image of Goa.” – His Holiness Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji.

Wisdom, percept, dialogues enriched thinker’s meet in Goa – THE KUMBH CONCLAVE was organized by Satguru Foundation in association with India Think Tank Council. Goa Department of Art & culture, Goa University, Museum of Goa  were co-partners of this event. Researchers,  Postgraduate students, scholars, policy experts and social entrepreneurs from across India and abroad participated in the conclave for discussion on the topics like Indian cultural Heritage & economy, Vedic Studies in India, Kumbh & Indian economy, spiritual economy. More than 100 schools and colleges of Goa participated in the conclave.

For creating awareness of our ancient but much more advanced Vedic culture, the discussion forums like ‘Kumbha Conclave’ are been conducted time to time. Such conclaves are thought boosters for today’s generation. This event touches the topics like – Festivals in India: a Unifying Thread of our civilization & cultural diversity, Importance of Kumbh, Spiritual Economy – Soft power & Global Peace. It also gives opportunity and platform for Goan scholars to share their thoughts with great Indian thinkers.
