International Yoga Day 2026 celebrated at Tapobhoomi

Kundaim: Yog is the science gifted by the revered Indian Rishis and Munis. The entire universe is connected with Yoga. The aspiration of our sages has always been that everyone should attain a healthy and disease-free life. The Gurupeeths and universities of India have continuously worked to spread the knowledge of Yog among people. Following this ancient tradition, the visionary and ascetic Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, presented the Indian science of Yog on the platform of the United Nations, where more than 177 countries supported and accepted this ancient wisdom. Today, the 12th International Yog Day is being celebrated across the world, which is a matter of pride for Bharat and the timeless knowledge of our Rishis and Munis, said Adhyatma Shiromani, Padma Shri awardee Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji.

The grand celebration of the 12th International Yog Day was organized at Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi Gurupeeth, Kundaim, in the divine presence of Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, on the occasion of the Gurupeetharohan Silver Jubilee Year celebrations. The event was jointly organized by Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth and Sadguru Yoga Gurukul, with the collaboration of International Sadguru Gurukulam, Sadguru Dnyanpeeth, Swami Brahmanand Vedic Gurukul & Research Institute, and Swami Brahmanand Mahavidyalaya. Swamiji was addressing the gathering on this occasion.

Further speaking, Pujya Swamiji said that Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant is making significant efforts to establish this ancient Indian science of Yoga in Goa. Spirituality is not limited to any one religion; it exists in all traditions. The Goa Chief Minister is working towards promoting the spiritual heritage of Goa. The Goa Government has issued directives to celebrate Yog Day in all government offices, schools, colleges, and across all sections of society, due to which Yog Day was celebrated at numerous locations today.

Pujya Swamiji further suggested that Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant should initiate a discussion on Yoga in the Goa Legislative Assembly and declare Goa as a “Yog State” so that Goa, the land of Yogis, the land of Lord Parashuram, Tapobhoomi, and the sacred land of Gau Mata, gains recognition as the Yoga Land of India. He expressed that in the coming decades and centuries, Goa should regain its glorious heritage, where Yoga practices begin across beaches, temples, monasteries, offices, schools, and colleges. To enhance the identity and character of Goa, it should be declared as a “Yog State,” he said.

Through Tapobhoomi, Yog Day was celebrated at various locations across Goa, including Goa Lok Bhavan, Police Stations, Ponda Municipal Council, Konkan Railway – Madgaon, various temples, railway stations, airports, auditoriums, schools, colleges, police stations, government offices, and many other places.

Various organizations actively participated in this grand initiative, including Satguru Foundation, Sadguru Youth Federation, Jagat Janani, Swami Sadanand Ayurveda Dham, International Sadguru Foundation, Swami Brahmanand Mahavidyalaya, International Sadguru Gurukulam, Sadguru Dnyanpeeth, and others.

The dignitaries present on the dais included Adv. Under the guidance of Yog Acharya Vishal Mhalkar, Yoga demonstrations were conducted, followed by Pujya Swamiji’s address and the Shanti Path, marking the conclusion of the program.

Napier Grass Cultivation Campaign at Tapobhoomi

An initiative under the Khet Bachao Andolan and Natural Farming Conservation.

Kundaim: On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee year of the Peetharohan (ascension to the spiritual seat) of Peethadhishwar Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, the Napier Grass Cultivation Campaign was launched at Tapobhoomi Gurupeeth. This initiative was organized jointly by the Sadguru Foundation and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) – Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (CCARI), Goa.

The program was organized in collaboration with the Government of Goa under the ‘Khet Bachao Andolan’ (Save Farming Movement) and Natural Farming Conservation initiative, which is being implemented under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Hon. Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The primary objective of this campaign is to promote natural farming in Goa, boost the cow protection (Goraksha) movement, conserve the Indian Rishi-Krishi (sage-agriculture) tradition, and propagate sustainable agricultural practices. Over the next year, this campaign will be implemented across a total of 200 acres of land at various locations in Goa.

The initiative was inaugurated by the Director of ICAR-CCARI, Dr. Parveen Kumar. On this occasion, he highlighted the importance of natural farming, animal husbandry, and fodder management, emphasizing that such initiatives are essential for sustainable agricultural development.

The President of the Sadguru Foundation, Adv. Brahmideviji, elaborated on the significance of cow conservation, environmental protection, and agricultural traditions in Indian culture. She appealed to society to embrace natural farming to build a healthy and prosperous environment for future generations.

Goa Spiritual Festival 2026 celebrated with great grandeur.

Today I am present here not as a minister, but as a devotee who is deeply connected with spirituality. It is essential to introduce our future generations to spirituality and culture. If even one youth connects with spirituality and culture because of my presence today, I will consider my presence successful. It is the responsibility of every Sanatani to carry our culture forward along with the revered saints. I appeal to citizens from India and abroad that Goa is a land adorned with diverse cultures and is also a deeply spiritual region. Whenever you visit Goa in the future, do come to experience this spirituality and make sure to visit Goa’s ancient temples. This was stated by Union Minister Chirag Paswan.

With the vision that Goa’s beaches should be recognized globally not merely as tourist destinations but as centers of spiritual energy, the Sea Aarti ceremony under Goa Spiritual Festival 2026 was held in a grand manner at Calangute Beach. He was speaking on this occasion.

Words fall short to praise Brahmeshanand Swamiji : Mahant Ravindrapuriji

Goa is the sacred land of Lord Parashurama. Today, the Chief Minister of Goa is striving for the upliftment of Sanatan Dharma. The entire Goa has become imbued with saffron spirit, and efforts are being made so that Goa is known not as a land of indulgence but as a land of yoga and spirituality. Brahmeshanand Swamiji is leading this sacred Parashuram Bhoomi, and words are insufficient to praise him. This was expressed by the President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, Mahant Ravindrapuri Swamiji.

The auspicious beginning of the program was marked by Mahapujan at Shri Shantadurga Temple. Thereafter, amidst the resonating beats of dhol-tasha, chants of victory, and the divine Harinaam, a grand procession was taken out in the holy presence of saints and mahants. In the main ceremony that followed, the state leadership ceremonially honored the spiritual leadership (Sant Pujan), the grand Sea Maha Aarti was performed in the presence of saints, Union Minister Chirag Paswan was felicitated and shared his thoughts, revered saints delivered their blessings, and Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji was conferred the title “Goa Swami” in a grand honor by the saints and mahants. Goa’s spirituality has reached the nation and abroad due to Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji. With the arrival of saints on the occasion of the Goa Spiritual Festival, Goa is becoming spiritual. Today, the coming generation needs to carry forward the flag of Hindu Dharma. This was stated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

The “Goa Spiritual Festival 2026,” conceived by the spiritual leader Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji and organized by Satguru Foundation in association with the Government of Goa under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, was inaugurated on 19 February at Sangampur through the grand unveiling of the majestic statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the divine presence of saints.The Chief Minister was addressing on this occasion.

The programme began auspiciously with Sangameshwar Pujan and Maha Aarti at the Triveni Sangam. Thereafter, a grand procession was taken out with great enthusiasm. Amid the chanting of Vedic mantras, the beats of traditional drums, and slogans of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the grand statue unveiling ceremony was completed. Thereafter, the main programme featured Sant Pujan, prayers, and inspiring discourses by the revered saints.

It is a matter of joy that the ancient name Sangampur is once again becoming people-oriented. It is a matter of pride that the Goa Spiritual Festival has begun in Sangampur. Today, the cultural land of Goa and the village of Sangampur have been sanctified by the footsteps of saints. The work of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji is inspiring for the coming generation. The Goa Spiritual Festival is bringing positive change in Gomantak. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is the symbol of Rajsatta and Dharmasatta, and because of him the temple spires of Gomantak remained protected. All Goans will always remain grateful for this work, said Minister Subhash Phal Dessai.

Grand Celebration of Goa Spiritual Festival 2026

Kundaim : Under the divine vision and guidance of the Peethadheeshwar of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Padma Shri awardee Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, the grand and magnificent Goa Spiritual Festival 2026 is being organized by the Satguru Foundation in association with the Government of Goa under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, from 19th to 24th February 2026, on the sacred land of Gomantak.

This festival will offer a memorable experience, presenting to the world Goa’s rich cultural traditions, Sanatan spiritual heritage, and the proud identity of Gomantak.

Organized under the leadership of Nari Shakti, this grand celebration will further highlight Goa’s spiritual legacy at the international level.

Many Mahamandaleshwars, saints, spiritual gurus, Jagadguru, Shankaracharyas, Peethadheeshwars of various Peethas, saints from different Akhadas, and distinguished government dignitaries will grace this historic occasion.

The festival will commence on 19th February at 4:30 PM at Sangampur, Sanguem, with the grand unveiling of the majestic statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, organized by Goa Spiritual Festival and Sangampur Shiv Samrajya Samiti. On 22nd February at 4:00 PM, a grand Samudra Maha Aarti , Rath Yatra, collective recitation of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Sant Pujan, blessings from revered saints, and a musical presentation – Gajar Gomantak – will be organized.

On 23rd February at 4:00 PM in Panaji, under the Spiritual Cruise, there will be Mahadayi River Pujan, ‘Sangeet Sarita’, Felicitation Ceremony, and a devotional boat procession in the presence of saints.

On 24th February at 10:30 AM at Tapobhoomi, the festival will conclude with Gau Mata Pujan, Devsthan and Sant Sammelan, Sadguru Bhakti Mahayagya, and the Divine Brahmanushthan Ceremony.

Dubai, UAE – February 4, 2026 – Padma Shri Sadguruji was felicitated at MahaBiz 2026, a landmark international business conference that drew over 1,000 global delegates from across the world, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a premier hub for international investment.

India–Thai Sanatan Cultural Conference in Thailand

Thailand : The India–Thai Sanatan Cultural Conference was organized at Shri Vishnu Temple, Bangkok by the Brahmarashtra Ekam Vishva Mahasangh Nyas. The event was graced by Padma Shri Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, Peethadhishwar of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Tapobhoomi – Goa (India), as the Special Guest of Honour.

In His inspiring address, His Holiness Sadguruji emphasized that Hindu Sanatanis across the globe must unite to uphold Dharma, peace, and cultural harmony. Referring to the eternal principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family,” Swamiji highlighted the need for collective efforts to achieve global peace and human unity.

Over 200 Donors Came Together for Life-Saving Blood Drive in Goa

In an encouraging demonstration of community spirit and social responsibility, over 200 donors came together at Tapobhoomi on July 13th to participate in a large-scale blood donation camp organized by the Satguru Foundation, Sadguru Youth Federation, and Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth. The event was held to mark the Gurupeetharohan Dwitahpurti Mahotsav of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, who personally inaugurated the camp by lighting a ceremonial lamp and donating blood himself.

In the address, Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji emphasized that blood donation is much more than a medical procedure; it is a vital act of service rooted in India’s cultural and spiritual traditions. “Blood donation is a donation of life, a virtuous act that embodies compassion and humanity. It is essential for helping those in need and maintaining the health of our society,” he stated. Pujya Swamiji urged the community to organize regular blood donation camps in villages, temples, and major public places across Goa to ensure that the Goa Medical College never faces a blood shortage. He further appealed to everyone to foster a culture of giving that extends beyond personal benefit, emphasizing that such acts of service help keep our society resilient and compassionate.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from youth, who came out in large numbers driven by a shared sense of duty and community service. Medical professionals from Goa Medical College provided excellent support throughout the day, coordinating efforts to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Pujya Sadguruji acknowledged that it is due to the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji that International Yoga Day is now celebrated worldwide, with the United Nations adopting Yoga as a global movement for wellness and unity.

Pujya Sadguruji emphasized that the sacred science of Yoga, as bestowed upon the world by India’s ancient rishis and sages, is a divine gift to humanity. If the world sincerely embraces the Indian Yogic tradition, true peace and spiritual elevation can be attained. Pujya Sadguruji also lauded Bhikkhu Sanghasena ji, founder of the Mahabodhi Centre, for his unwavering commitment to spreading the message of Yoga and peace across the globe. Pujya Sadguruji urged everyone across the globe to internalize and practice the sacred knowledge of Yog, and to carry forward India’s rich spiritual legacy to every corner of the globe.

The celebration was held under the banner of “The Ladakh’s Biggest Festival of Yoga & Meditation at World’s Highest Altitude,” jointly organised by the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre and the Administration of UT Ladakh — a truly divine confluence of spirit, serenity, and Sanatan wisdom amidst the majestic Himalayas. Pujya Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji was invited as a distinguished guest of Honour, where Pujya Sadguruji addressed the gathering with a deeply spiritual message.

Hon’ble Union Minister for Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal ji, also graced the celebration as the Chief Guest, joining Sadguruji in honouring this global spiritual event.
