Fez, Morocco — The Global Forum on the Alliance of Civilizations, hosted by the Euromed University of Fez in collaboration with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the Muslim World League, was held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The forum, centered on the theme “The Future of Human Civilization Facing the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence,” brought together more than 2,500 participants from over 70 countries, including global leaders, policymakers, academics, and experts.
The opening session featured high-level interventions from distinguished international figures, including André Azoulay, Advisor to His Majesty King Mohammed VI; Mohammad Bin Abdulkarim Alissa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League; Miguel Ángel Moratinos, United Nations High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations; Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills; and Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
The forum served as a key platform for dialogue at the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, and human values, emphasizing the importance of fostering inclusive and responsible technological advancement in shaping the future of global civilization.
